Alex and Julie of Backyard Bookkeeper
In 2008, Alex and Julie founded Backyard Bookkeeper, a small accounting firm that served local, small businesses. They started with zero capital and grew the company into what it is today, despite the ongoing recession.
Backyard Bookkeeper grew over the next eleven years and developed into a unique business based almost entirely on stay-at-home moms. Today, the company provides accounting services to small businesses across the country, in a wide range of industries. With their combined experience and talent, Alex and Julie eventually branched out into payroll and consulting.
Julie has a degree in economics and Alex has a degree in business. They are both passionate about business and personal development. In particular, they love helping other women succeed. They believe that success looks different for everyone, and that the only person you need to get permission from is yourself.
Alex and Julie will be at The Wave on Thursday’s 10-1.
